Dr. Asesh Samanta is currently serving as an Associate Consultant in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Apollo Multispeciality Hospital, Kolkata. In this role, he is actively involved in planning and delivering advanced radiotherapy treatments using modern, precision-based techniques for a wide range of cancers.
Dr. Samanta has developed strong clinical expertise through his association with some of India’s leading cancer institutions. He began his professional journey as a Registrar at Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata, and later gained advanced exposure as a Medical Research Fellow and Senior Resident at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. His experience includes managing complex cancer cases, multidisciplinary coordination, and the application of advanced radiation technologies in routine clinical practice.
Dr. Samanta completed his MBBS under the West Bengal Medical Council and went on to pursue DNB in Radiotherapy from the National Board of Examinations. His academic training has provided him with a strong foundation in radiation physics, oncology principles, and evidence-based cancer treatment protocols.
Dr. Samanta has a keen interest in academic research and has authored multiple publications in reputed national and international medical journals.
